Yes, the mop dog with a ponytail chased a careless visiting cat up the tree.

The cat paused there to consider it's options...

Calculated tree-to-wall distance, listened to the bark, estimated hair/dog ratio...

Apparently it concluded that Dusty is mostly hair, climbed down the tree, and made a successful dash for the wall.

Dusty made sure it left in a hurry, and strutted proudly into the house, as only a dog with that much hair and a ponytail can do.
Indiana, on the other hand, feels it is beneath her dignity to chase cats and remained on the patio, watching Dusty with a bemused expression.
