If The Women Don't Find You Handsome, They Should At Least Find You Handy

His name is Jackson, Action Jackson. Or Jack Jack. Just not Jackie or Janet. He is a havanese. He is two years old. He is staying with us for a while because his original family could not give him the love he needed. He is looking for a nice new family. He is a very good boy with a very bad haircut. Apply with Havanese Rescue. 

In other news, if you can call it that, today was sick day. Adventurer Two went to school today after missing most of last week being sick. Venom came home from school sick. Stuffy head. And Young Adventurer is smart with his timing but not his acting. He stayed home from school "sick" but did not pull it off. He discovered that being "sick" is really boring. He will be at school tomorrow unless he sprouts a real, verifiable illness overnight.

Meet Barbecue Caye. It even has a "cottage." All it needs is WiFi. I have always wanted to be Robinson Crusoe. This is totally why to save for retirement. 

If you are on a smaller budget, or looking for something farther above sea level, Buttonwood Caye is a little more affordable and has some awesome coral reef action, a nice little shack, and many coconut palms, all at 4 feet elevation.

The part of all this that concerns me is that I found these lovely slices of paradise because Venom showed them to me, and she found them during latin class??? These are in Belize. Do they speak latin there? I doubt it.

This is entertaining on many levels. It is from Europe, it involves music, and there is an orangey-red tractor, which is the best color for a tractor. Thanks, Dad.

It may never happen again.

Rooting for the Cardinals in the Superbowl may have been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so we took advantage of it. Indie sported her red "Barbie Dog" look. Dusty wore her red topknot as well. Danjo the Magnificent shopped Bullseye for the perfect shirt and found it at Buy'N'Large instead (gasp!). Venom altered a pair of red earrings to suit herself, Adventurer Two painted her toenails red. Young Adventurer wore his red jogging suit.  And me, you ask? As an environmentally concious person, I chose to recycle. It is red, it has a football and the word "Champs." Works for me, and since they only almost won, I can comfort myself in the knowledge that I did not overspend on Cardinals paraphenalia (okay, I have tried four consonant-vowel combinations and that last word is still underlined. Oh well, only a few of you could spell it correctly anyway). 

The best part of the party was watching the look on Gavin's face when the rest of us were jumping out of our seats and screaming.
