I researched the bouzouki. I think I should stick with a mandolin, especially since I don't know how to play it. The bouzouki apparently has a longer neck and the frets are farther apart, making it harder to play. I may go for an octave mandolin, but they are more expensive, which is a deterrent since I can't play. I also learned in my research that if the manodlin has eight strings, it has four courses, actually. A cittern is a five course instrument. Hmmm.
Wow, I used to have that whole song memorized. I'm not sure I feel fine after yesterday, but I feel...blah.
ReplyDeleteActually, that's an irish bouzouki. Its in the mandolin family.
